Vicki has over 20 years’ experience in comms starting as a volunteer at channel 4 in 1998. Since then she went onto launch the UKs first digital channels at Granada Sky Broadcasting and the Cbeebies and CBBC channels at the BBC. Since moving back to Wales Vicki gained government experience both locally and nationally before launching Cowshed in 2014. Putting passion and purpose first, Vicki is steadfast in delivering campaigns for organisations the team believe in and she’s built an extremely talented team to help her do it.
Kate leads the team through the most complex of our campaigns. A multi-award winning mother of two, Kate’s strategic thinking and knowledge of media relations makes sure our campaigns are wide reaching and inspire people to act.
Stacey started her career at Comic Relief where she met Vicki. Cowshed’s first employee, Stacey has delivered some of our most recognisable campaigns, leading on clients including National Adoption Service, Public Health Wales and National Trust.
Dave manages his role as overseer of finance and strategy at Cowshed between his other roles which take him around the globe. A Finance Director with over 20 years’ experience working for FTSE 100 companies, Cowshed are incredibly lucky to have his strategic and global vision to guide them as they grow. Charlie joins Cowshed having developed her career in London. She brings with her experience of working on some of the UK’s best known brand campaigns that hit the mark both creatively and effectively. As Head of Creative she ensures our output packs a punch creatively.

Following her degree in Marketing, Sofia is enjoying her first dip into the world of communications. Her heart lives in the sea, but at cowshed she is honing her skills in digital marketing, supporting the team to run international campaigns.

With over a decade at BBC news, Beth puts audiences at the heart of everything she does, particularly underserved Welsh communities. Beth – who is also a Media Trust mentor and coach – leads our campaign team to produce inclusive campaigns.
Aamir was crowned the UK's young journalist of the year in 2019 and has worked at award winning newsrooms in Wales and London. He’s now at cowshed to ensure every campaign produced is of the highest quality, that our media relations is on point and our campaigns get the recognition they deserve.

An experienced project manager, Charlie is passionate about brand storytelling and translating brand purpose through creative messaging and tone of voice a skill she honed during her time leading on the sponsorship activation activity for Principality Stadium. At Cowshed, Charlie leads our Private Sector division.
Sian fell in love with the world of marketing and communications during her University Year in Industry in 2016. Since then, she has worked in a variety of sectors from pharmaceuticals to sport. With an award for innovative communication under her belt, Sian specialises in social media. If you are looking to spice up your socials, Sian’s your girl.
With almost 10 years’ experience managing local, national and international integrated arts and culture campaigns, Rhian has a true passion for delivering work that connects, drives change and matters. With two small children and a rowdy Labrador to contend with, Rhian is a skilled multitasker and is dedicated to ensuring her work is delivered to the highest standard every time.
Elouise’s experience is firmly rooted in third sector communications, building her career in several different roles for development charity CAFOD where she led on projects with the Disasters Emergency Committee, the European Union, and Welsh Government. Skilled at delivering thought-provoking, data-driven campaigns, Elouise understands how to reach new audiences, nurture existing ones, and inspire action.
A South African in Wales, Sarah is passionate about supporting grassroots artistic talent and is constantly on the lookout for new creatives in and around Cardiff that represent all the immense talent this city has to offer.
Junior Campaign Officer
Holly is our go to for all things insights and research. From public awareness and behaviour change to place-making, her work has especially focused on government and the public sector, in Wales and the UK to develop campaigns that promote social change.
Ella is fresh out of an English Literature degree at Cardiff University and very excited to be staying longer in sunny Wales. The first to put her hand up and get stuck in, don’t be surprised if you see her appear in a few of our campaigns.

Maria has left behind the world of packing peanuts to deliver impactful campaigns to support and inspire learners across Wales and beyond. With a master’s degree in international PR, Maria brings a strategic mindset and plenty of enthusiasm to the team.
Steve has over 20 years experience on a wide range of award winning creative projects from internal communications to out-of-home campaigns, digital communications strategies to street art mural commissions. As Design Lead at Cowshed he brings an audience-centric focus to campaign creative with eye-catching and engaging executions that cut through the noise, deliver key messages with maximum effectiveness and resonate with audiences.
Meet Hollie – our studio manager, making sure all aspects of the creative studio tick over nicely, whilst also ensuring our knock-out creative is being delivered to the quality we want for all our clients’ work. Having numerous years of experience as a creative designer, being a studio manager is like second nature to this organised creative soul.

Tom is an award-winning designer with 15 years' experience across in-house, agency and freelance in locations around the UK. He's worked with a huge range of clients in that time, including Mattel, The United Nations and VSO International. From concept to delivery, Tom loves to bring a 'bigger picture' approach to projects and still gets a kick out of seeing his ideas out in the wild, especially when they provoke conversation.
Maris is a bilingual graphic and typographic designer with a love for typography. A passionate, determined and dedicated individual, striving to create meaningful work that generates a positive impact.
With nearly twenty experience working in the communications industry as a journalist and editor, Llinos is a natural juggler bringing words that create an impact to life, especially through the medium of Welsh. She’s passionate about the Welsh language and seeing the language thrive on platforms such as social media and online marketing. Llinos is also a prize-winning poet and is a mother of four. She’s a professional multitasker and an expert on all things Cymraeg.
Welsh Language Lead
Former butcher turned creative - yes, it is true - Lewis now chops into creative briefs. As Creative Copywriter, he’s responsible for crafting ideas and writing words that inspire people to act. And with over four years of experience in the ad land, he’s no stranger to creating meaty campaigns that are full of flavour.
Grace is on our internship programme to hone her existing skills and learn lots of new ones including media relations, campaign planning and social media. With work published on ITV Wales, Wales Online and Buzz, Grace's experience in filming and photography is already proving to be invaluable. Her LGBTQ+ photography project continues to be exhibited in St Fagans. So go check it out!
Junior Multimedia Producer
Lisa originally hails from Belfast but has spent most of her life living in Wales. A networker and campaigner for organisations including Amnesty International Wales and Macmillan Cancer Support, she's experienced in public affairs and influencing government policy. She spent 10 years working at BBC Wales, mainly on the BAFTA award-winning Capture Wales / Cipolwg ar Gymru, Digital Storytelling Project.
