Digital Marketing Specialist

Salary bracket: £22K – £27K depending on experience


Working together with the campaign team, you will develop and deliver powerful, forward thinking and change making digital marketing behaviour change strategies across our client portfolio. Out clients include as non-profit / public sector organisations and charities. Using your marketing skills to plan and implement PPC and other techniques to reach more people, generate interest in our campaigns and build stronger relationships with our audiences.

You’ll have a minimum of three years of experience in a digital marketing position. You’ll have your finger on the pulse with innovations in digital, as well as be someone who loves insights and analytics to monitor success and make recommendations on how we can do things even better.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and implementing PPC strategies using Google ads (AdWords)
• Managing email and social media marketing campaigns
• Monitoring and analysing success by using Google Analytics and providing regular reports
• Providing innovative solutions when faced with challenges
• Reviewing and making recommendations on existing digital marketing strategies
• Working with the campaign team to set SMART campaign objectives
• Building and maintaining relationships with digital advertising providers
• Contributing to the creativity and implementation of campaigns
• Identifying new trends and technologies in digital marketing to ensure our campaigns are at the forefront of industry developments
• Sharing knowledge to strengthen the team

Core skills:

• PPC – especially Facebook ads and Google ads
• Deploying tags and tracking pixels using Google Tag Manager
• Google Analytics including custom dimensions and advanced segments
• Experience of, adwords, programmatic ads and display advertising campaigns
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Email marketing and marketing automation
• Degree level education or equivalent professional experience
• The ability to communicate your work to clients and collegues
• Strong numeracy and experience in using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets


• SEO experience
• Presentation skills for external and internal training, workshops and pitches
• Experience of managing and writing content for a website
• Creating data visualisations using Google Data Studio
