Project Overview :

St David’s Day is celebrated across Wales on the 1st of March every year, however FOR Cardiff felt that more could be done to go all out to mark the day in Cardiff city centre.

Cowshed were challenged with creating a stunt that would get people talking and encourage them to visit the city centre in the week leading up to St David’s Day to increase footfall. By taking the unique symbol of Welshness, the daffodil, and floating giant daffodils 60 meters in the sky, popping up at 15 locations across the city, Cowshed established Cardiff as the place to celebrate being Cymraeg.
